POWERHOME SOLAR’s mission is to help customers achieve energy independence by selling renewable energy at prices below utility rates. As power companies raise rates and dictate how much their customers pay, POWERHOME SOLAR believes in offering a more practical option. POWERHOME SOLAR wants their customers to save money all while helping to create a cleaner future for generations to come.
POWERHOME SOLAR’S GROWTH
Under Jayson Waller, POWERHOME SOLAR has grown from 15 employees in 2015 to over 1,600, and has reached nearly $200 million in annual revenue. In 2020, the company was ranked the seventh residential solar installer in the U.S. by Solar Power World and 255th on Inc. 5000’s list of the fastest-growing private companies in America, marking the third time in four years that it has been in the top 300.
POWERHOME SOLAR is still based in Mooresville, North Carolina, and has expanded its reach to nine additional states including Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. POWERHOME has also developed partnerships with five pro football franchises (Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers), one pro baseball franchise (Cleveland Indians) and one university (NC State Athletics).
HOW POWERHOME SOLAR HELPS THE PLANET
Installing solar panels is good for the planet and your wallet. Unlike other power sources, solar energy is a renewable resource so we can use as much as needed and the resource won’t deplete. Processing solar energy doesn’t release harmful carbon emissions, making it one of the best ways to power your home or commercial property while also protecting our natural resources and the environment.
Not only are natural gas and oil prices volatile, but utility companies also tend to raise their rates even when the prices of fossil fuels go down. And, as fossil fuels become more scarce, their prices will only continue to go up. On the other hand, solar energy costs are going down. In fact, solar panel installation costs have dropped more than 70 percent since 2010. At POWERHOME SOLAR, we want our customers achieve energy independence while helping to create a cleaner future.
